The Foundation requires funds to support its aims and activities. The funds are required to host the website, also to write to A&E departments twice yearly and it is hoped that this will be expanded to writing to General Practitioners at their surgeries. We also require resources to support and encourage research into the condition.
All the Trustees and faculty members receive no financial reward and give their time freely. Secretarial support is provided on a commercial basis.
At present the Foundation receives no support from the NHS, or other government agencies. Donations are greatly received from individuals, groups or commercial enterprises.
